This is a hands-on leadership role on a smaller, close-knit unit, not a distant regional oversight job. You'll work directly with therapy, culinary, resident life, maintenance, housekeeping, finance, and sales teams to shape day-to-day care, and you'll know every resident and every team member you lead. We're looking for someone who leads with person-centered care and works well with people from all backgrounds, residents, families, and staff alike.

What you'll do:

  • Direct day-to-day clinical operations for the 19-bed skilled nursing unit, working closely with therapy, culinary, resident life, maintenance, housekeeping, finance, and sales teams
  • Lead quality assurance and risk management initiatives and track key performance indicators
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
  • Manage department budgets, labor costs, supplies, and documentation systems to meet regulatory and financial goals
  • Guide survey readiness, ensure state and federal compliance, and develop corrective action plans as needed
  • Recruit, coach, and mentor clinical team members, and schedule staffing based on resident acuity
  • Provide on-call leadership support as needed

What you'll need:

Required:

  • Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field, or at least 4 years of long-term/geriatric nursing experience (or an equivalent combination)
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience developing and implementing operational policies and procedures
  • Able to understand and carry out both written and spoken instructions
  • Proficient with EHR systems and Microsoft Office

Pay and benefits:

  • $115,000-$130,000/year, credit given for experience
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 403(b) savings plan
  • Daily Pay - access your earned wages before payday
  • Paid time off
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • WellBeing mental health support and 24/7 chaplain counseling
  • 365 Program for ongoing team member development
  • Relocation and hiring incentives may be available, ask us

Schedule:Full-time, with on-call rotation.
