This is a 13 weeks contract assignment. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and oversight for nursing operations within the Long Term Care facility
- Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
- Oversee resident care plans, clinical outcomes, and quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and nursing department operations
- Monitor documentation, infection control practices, and regulatory compliance
- Support staff development, training, and performance management
Requirements:
- Active RN License required
- Previous Director of Nursing (DON) experience in a Long Term Care (LTC) setting required
- Strong leadership and management experience in skilled nursing or nursing home environments
- Knowledge of LTC regulations, compliance standards, and survey readiness
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
