THE ROLE
Our client, an acute care hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, is seeking a Director of Nursing to provide round-the-clock management of the Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Stress Test units. The Director is directly accountable for ensuring these units meet the facility's established standard of care. This is a fully on-site, full-time permanent position at the Director level within nursing leadership. Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated track record of partnering with physicians to grow or expand Cath Lab programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide 24-hour management and oversight of the Cath Lab, IR, and Stress Test units
- Ensure all designated units meet the facility's established standard of care
- Partner with physicians, staff, and hospital administration to support and grow the Cath Lab program
- Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care/service across assigned units
REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing - MSN required
- Minimum 5 years clinical experience
- Minimum 2 3 years Cath Lab management experience in a manager/director role
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Strong history of partnering closely with physicians to grow or expand Cath Lab programs
