Lone Star Circle of Care is a non-profit, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing high-quality health care to patients in Central Texas. Qualifications:
You are a board-certified OB/GYN who is passionate about working with the underserved population and those who may be experiencing significant barriers to care. You want to grow a practice and mentor the next generation of OBGYN physicians as the medical director of a residency program outpatient component in collaboration with our hospital partner.
- Mission focused and passionate about improving access to quality healthcare.
- Supervision of residents- Mentor the next generation of OBGYN physicians
- M-F 8am- 5pm
- No hospital call
- Proactive and thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Comfortable working independently in a group setting while also seeking support and consultation from colleagues
- Ability to interact and collaborate with community partners and emergency medical/psychiatric service providers to ensure patient safety, including whether a patient needs a higher level of care
- Possesses computer/technology skills to efficiently document using an electronic health record and conduct telemedicine visits, as well as communicating/meeting with colleagues virtually
