Job Details
The OpportunityAs the Director of Operations in Livingston, NJ, you will provide strategic leadership across Adult Day and Residential programs. This role is pivotal in ensuring NJ DDD and federal regulatory compliance while driving the efficiency of our person-centered services.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Excellence: Oversee licensing, certification standards, and safety compliance across multiple community sites.
Operational Oversight: Maintain department procedures and manuals to ensure 100% compliance with agency and state mandates.
Systems Management: Lead the implementation of new systems (like eMAR) and manage EHR reporting to streamline operations.
Clinical Coordination: Monitor ISP updates, IDT meetings, and recordkeeping for accuracy and timeliness.
Financial Partnership: Manage billing reconciliations and partner with Finance to resolve operational discrepancies.
Emergency Support: Provide on-call guidance for operational emergencies as needed.
Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in Special Education/related field + 5 years of IDD leadership; OR a Bachelor’s degree + 7 years of relevant administrative experience.
Experience: Proven success managing complex operations within IDD/DD program settings.
Software: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office/Outlook and experience with Electronic Health Records.
Requirements: A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required for travel between local program sites.
