Job Description
The Director of Operations leads Maintenance, Bio-Med, Security, and oversees the Safety/Emergency Management for the facility to ensure the local codes and laws are met. Must have a thorough knowledge of the NFPA 101 Life Safety Code. Performs duties that maintain the mechanical integrity of the facility as well as the duties of each department. Assures a safe environment for the patients, visitors and staff. Lead and/or provides oversight of the Safety Committee and Emergency Management Committee. The Director of Operations is responsible for completing all duties as assigned.
Education:
- High school diploma required. Higher degree strongly preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with project coordination, management experience, or equivalent required.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with Environment of Care as well as Hospital Safety preferred.
Required Licensure/Certification(s): Valid driver’s license and eligibility to be insured under RMCHCS vehicle liability policy is required.
Forklift training certificate required or within one year of hire.
