Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Operations Readiness & Delivery, Restaurant Excellence, provides leadership and guidance to a team that directly supports the brand's strategic vision. The Director also works cross-functionally within the Restaurant Support Center (RSC) to ensure operational excellence for key initiatives, sales/profitability growth for Franchise and Company Operations, and support marketing and digital campaigns.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
May perform any or all of the following duties:
- Lead a multifunctional team to support the brand's operations teams and internal RSC cross-functional partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Operations on key initiatives determined by leadership.
- Support the brand's Operations leadership administratively in preparation for CKE Board of Directors, ops committee, and internal leadership team meetings.
- Displays outstanding leadership skills by providing coaching, guidance, and development to direct and indirect reports.
- Provide thought leadership to enable sales/profitability growth while providing strategic direction to the brand's fundamental principles.
- Work with the CKE Culinary team to develop new products during the ideation and testing phases.
- Key point of contact for Franchisees in support of operations initiatives, including support of quarterly ops committee meetings and annual conference.
- Coordinate and partner with the CKE Digital team in support of the First Party / Third Party delivery program.
- Attends seminars and completes additional training to stay current with industry trends.
- Conducts field visits in both Company and Franchise locations to provide feedback/monitor results of testing of key initiatives.
- Participates in company meetings, webinars, and conference calls.
- Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned in response to changing business conditions and/or requirements.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/CORE COMPETENCIES
- Must possess approximately eight (8) years of any combination of experience and/or education that demonstrates a commanding knowledge of restaurant operations and previous experience leading a team.
- BA/BS Degree preferred.
- Must display strong analytical and organizational skills and have the ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies with positive business results.
- Must have a strong work ethic and a high level of confidentiality to ensure proper handling of sensitive information.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong written and oral interpersonal communication skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Restaurant Support Center operates in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment. The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring a regular on-site presence in the office every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; Mondays and Fridays as needed to support the business.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Sitting for extended periods of time, using a telephone, typing, and/or operating a computer and/or mouse
- Travel as needed, approximately twenty (20)%
