Strivector s premier client (a well-known market leader in their space) is hiring for the following full-time direct hire position.POSITION OVERVIEW As a Director of Pharmacy your roles and responsibilities will include:
  • Directs the personnel, operational and financial activities of the pharmacy services function for the assigned operating unit.
  • Identifies the need for policy development and/or revision, defines policies in collaboration with higher-level management, input, goals and objectives.
  • Oversees or directs the development, implementation and/or revision of function procedures/protocols in accordance with system-wide goals and objectives.
  • Approves procedures/protocols and/or seeks other departmental approvals as appropriate.
  • Develops, monitors and revises functional processes in accordance with system-wide goals and objectives.
  • Provides input into the development and revision of organizational structure for the function.
QUALIFICATIONS Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Director of Pharmacy who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Director of Pharmacy would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree or master s degree in pharmacy, Business Administration or comparable graduate degree. Postgraduate residency training and/or additional coursework in business administration preferred.
  • Three to five years of experience in pharmacy administration in a hospital setting, including two to three years of supervisory/leadership experience. Pediatric experience highly preferred.
  • Registered Pharmacist and Controlled Substance licensures in the State of Michigan obtained within 3 months of entry into job.
