Job Title: Director of Pharmacy Services (Class F Pharmacist-in-Charge)
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy Services to oversee all pharmacy operations within a hospital setting. This role is responsible for managing medication preparation, dispensing, procurement, inventory control, and regulatory compliance while ensuring safe and effective pharmaceutical care delivery. The position also serves as Pharmacist-in-Charge with accountability for pharmacy systems, staff coordination, and clinical collaboration with nursing and medical teams.

Compensation USD $155,854 to $240,413 annually
Key Responsibilities• Oversee daily pharmacy operations within a hospital setting• Prepare, verify, and dispense medications in accordance with prescriptions and clinical standards• Manage pharmaceutical procurement, inventory control, and par-level stock management• Ensure safe storage, handling, and distribution of all medications• Enter and maintain patient drug information in pharmacy systems• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams regarding medication therapy• Check and verify all dispensed medications for accuracy and compliance• Support offsite departments including emergency and imaging services with medication needs• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state/federal regulations, and pharmacy standards• Supervise pharmacy workflows and maintain quality assurance processes
Requirements• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S. Pharmacy required)• Active Texas Board of Pharmacy license required• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy leadership experience in a hospital setting• Certification in aseptic technique required within 1 year of employment• Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance• Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical teams• Strong organizational and leadership skills
