Job Description
We’re recruiting for a senior product management leader on behalf of a U.S.-based life sciences technology company developing advanced platforms used in research and laboratory environments. This is a full-time, fully remote role based in the United States. This position leads product strategy and portfolio ownership for a suite of analytical instruments and laboratory software, with direct accountability for business performance and long-term growth across the research market. Key areas of ownership include: • Defining product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmaps across hardware and software platforms • Owning P&L responsibility, including revenue growth, forecasting, and margin performance • Acting as the voice of the customer through market research, customer insight, and competitive intelligence • Building and mentoring a high-performing product management team • Partnering with R&D and engineering to translate market needs into product requirements and technical direction • Driving integration between instruments and software to deliver intuitive, scalable user experiences • Leading pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for new and existing products • Supporting product launches, sales enablement, and field engagement • Ensuring alignment with applicable regulatory and quality requirements, including FDA, CE, and ISO standards Background our client is targeting: • Proven experience leading product management for life sciences instruments, platforms, or laboratory software • Direct ownership of P&L with a track record of successful commercialization and product launches • Exposure to analytical systems such as optical detection, fluidics, or laboratory automation preferred • Demonstrated people leadership experience within product or cross-functional teams • Strong strategic planning, financial modeling, and executive-level communication skills • Formal education in engineering or life sciences; advanced education a plus • Willingness to travel approximately 20–25% Work Model: • Fully remote, U.S.-based • Full-time leadership role
