The Aspen Group (TAG) is one of the largest and most trusted retail healthcare business support organizations in the U.S. and has supported over 20,000 healthcare professionals and team members with close to 1,500 health and wellness offices across 48 states in four distinct categories: dental care, urgent care, medical aesthetics, and animal health. Working in partnership with independent practice owners and clinicians, the team is united by a single purpose: to prove that healthcare can be better and smarter for everyone. TAG provides a comprehensive suite of centralized business support services that power the impact of five consumer-facing businesses: Aspen Dental, ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers, WellNow Urgent Care, Chapter Aesthetic Studio, and Lovet Pet Health Care. Each brand has access to a deep community of experts, tools and resources to grow their practices, and an unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality consumer healthcare experiences at scale.

TAG is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Product Management to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our Lab experience, covering Clinical, Field, and Lab Operations. As a Director, you will set the long-term strategic direction for multiple product lines and lead cross-functional teams to deliver world-class solutions that enhance customer and provider experiences. This is a leadership role that goes beyond day-to-day product development, focusing on shaping the overall product portfolio, aligning teams, and driving organizational growth. You will oversee the product lifecycle from strategic planning to execution, ensuring alignment with TAG's broader business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Product Leadership & Vision:

  • Lead the development of the strategic vision and product roadmap for TAG's digital ecosystem, ensuring that it aligns with long-term business goals and maximizes enterprise value.

  • Define the overarching product strategy across multiple product areas, balancing business objectives with customer needs to create a competitive advantage in the market.

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and areas for innovation, ensuring that the product portfolio remains differentiated and competitive.

End-to-End Product Oversight:

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of product development-from concept to launch and beyond-ensuring that each product aligns with both the short- and long-term goals of the business.

  • Manage the execution of the product roadmap through collaboration with senior management, product teams, and other business units.

  • Provide high-level direction for translating strategic objectives into detailed product development plans, while guiding the product team through the agile process to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Cross-Departmental Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other leaders across the organization, including UX Design, Engineering, Operations, Customer Care, Marketing, and Legal, to ensure seamless execution of the product strategy.

  • Play a key role in aligning product development efforts with broader organizational goals, ensuring that product initiatives support TAG's overall vision and mission.

  • Engage with key stakeholders (internally and externally) to ensure continuous alignment of the product portfolio with market needs and business objectives.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of product managers and product owners, guiding them to achieve product and business goals.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability within the product team, supporting the team's professional growth and ensuring that best practices are adopted across product management activities.

  • Provide thought leadership, coaching, and direction to ensure that product teams are empowered to execute and innovate.

Product & Market Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to inform product strategy and maintain a competitive edge.

  • Develop actionable insights based on data to influence key product decisions and ensure the continuous improvement of product offerings.

Stakeholder & Vendor Relationships:

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with third-party vendors to optimize the value of the product portfolio and ensure seamless delivery of new solutions.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment on product goals, timelines, and expectations.

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement:

  • Track and report on the performance of products within the portfolio, using key metrics and data to guide decision-making and improve product offerings.

  • Continuously refine and improve product management processes, ensuring that the team uses agile methodologies and best practices to drive product innovation and efficiency.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • 10+ years of product management experience with a focus on digital product development, particularly in high-tech or consumer-facing industries.

  • Proven experience in leading strategic product initiatives, including product strategy development, roadmap creation, and overseeing the full product lifecycle.

  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and experience managing cross-functional teams in product development.

  • Undergraduate degree in design, computer science, marketing, or a related field; MBA or MIS is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to make high-level, strategic decisions and align product portfolios with overarching business goals.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Leadership: Strong ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams, fostering a high-performance culture and driving organizational alignment.

  • Strategic Thinking: Excellent at developing and executing strategic product roadmaps and aligning them with company-wide objectives.

  • Collaboration & Influence: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence decisions across different functions and levels of the organization.

  • Market Insight: Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to drive product innovation.

  • Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to use data and metrics to inform decisions and optimize product performance.

  • Customer-Centric: A deep understanding of customer needs and a passion for creating solutions that enhance user experience.

Annual Salary Range: $186,000-$219,000 plus 25% bonus, with a generous benefits package that includes paid time off, health, dental, vision, and 401(k) savings plan with match
