Job Title:

Director of Sales – Healthcare (National Accounts)

Location:

Remote (National Travel up to 50%)

Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to lead a national team of high‑performing National Account Executives within the healthcare vertical. This role is responsible for overseeing strategic enterprise growth, driving long-cycle ROI‑based sales, and managing a personal book of business. The ideal candidate thrives in competitive environments, excels in complex enterprise selling, and brings a strong hunter mindset.
This is a highly influential leadership role requiring up to 50% domestic travel to support customers, internal teams, and account executives.

Required Skills:

  • Proven leadership of quota‑carrying B2B sales teams (4+ years)
  • Strong track record managing and closing long‑cycle, multi‑stakeholder enterprise deals
  • Expertise in ROI‑driven selling and building business case/financial justification models
  • Demonstrated success winning large national or enterprise accounts
  • Experience with enterprise account planning, target list discipline, and coverage strategy
  • Exceptional communication, executive presence, and ability to engage C‑suite decision makers
  • Ability to travel up to 50% nationally

Qualifications:

Must‑Haves

  • 4+ years of B2B sales leadership experience
  • Experience selling enterprise solutions with 12+ month sales cycles
  • Demonstrated ability to hunt, penetrate, and close national accounts
  • Strong financial acumen and comfort with ROI analysis
  • Strong customer‑facing and internal leadership skills

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Existing relationships in healthcare (hospitals, clinics, IDNs, etc.)
  • Background selling into healthcare organizations
  • Experience in energy‑efficiency, utility incentive programs, or retrofit projects
  • Knowledge of sustainability, decarbonization, or building performance optimization
