Job Description

Are you ready to drive revenue growth in the healthcare and senior living foodservice channels?

About The Role

This role focuses on acquiring new accounts and building strategic relationships to expand sales of healthy, nutrition-focused foods in hospitals, retirement communities, and long-term care facilities. Your efforts will significantly contribute to our client's market presence and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a market entry and growth strategy for healthcare and senior living foodservice segments.
  • Prospect, secure, and grow new accounts while increasing usage within existing relationships.
  • Build, onboard, and manage a broker network to support sales in target regions.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with distributors, ensuring alignment on product priorities and execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on product innovation, nutrition positioning, and packaging to meet healthcare customer needs.
  • Lead presentations, product trials, and launches with foodservice directors, dietitians, and procurement teams.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer sites.
  • Track pipeline, forecast sales, and report on performance.
  • Transition mature accounts to Sales Management while maintaining growth engagement.

Qualifications

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with proven ability to build new markets, broker networks, and distributor partnerships from the ground up.
  • Strong understanding of foodservice sales, ideally in healthcare, senior living, or institutional channels.
  • Skilled at consultative selling of value-based, nutrition-focused products to clinical and operational stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently with high integrity.
  • Proven track record in business development or foodservice sales, preferably involving brokers and distributors.
  • Demonstrated success launching new products, territories, or channels.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Nutrition, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
