What will you do everyday?
We are looking for a Director of Solutions Engineering to build and scale our Suki for Partners deployment team. You will lead a team of world-class engineers who embed with strategic customers to drive AI adoption within clinical and medical settings. This will involve prototyping new applications that integrate with Suki to deliver inference, summarization, and agentic capabilities.
You will help drive the strategy and technical direction of our customers, exploring ways that AI can help standardize, streamline, and scale their current workflows. You will build out features and services that directly impact thousands of clinicians, and improve their lives everyday. This role combines your technical depth, commercial intuition, and organizational leadership to elevate the efforts of our product, engineering, and customer success teams.
Specifically you will:
- Lead, hire, mentor a team of Solutions Engineers to deliver on complex business requests, leveraging the Suki for Partners platform
- Build scalable delivery methodologies and strategies for API, SDK, and MCP integration, deploy custom agents, and provide clear feedback for product enhancements
- Collaborate and partner with Engineering & Product leaders across the company to design new integration and deployment models as the company scales.
- Architect and design product features for scale and maintainability
- Work on multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities within an Agile/Scrum environment
- Understand production systems, deployments and ensuring application performance and uptime
- Build resourcing models to allocate resources against numerous customer priorities
- Maintain high standards of code quality through evangelisation of unit testing and integration tests
- Create a collaborative environment across geographies
Qualifications*
- 10+ years of experience designing and delivering highly scalable, distributed applications, products and services in a Software Engineering or Professional Services capacity.
- 5+ years of experience managing full-stack engineering teams working on server-based mobile or web applications, preferably within Enterprise SaaS.
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills, comfortable whiteboarding systems, and presenting solutions to client stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams to solve complex problems and building products spanning across geographically distributed teams to deliver end-to-end products & features
- Experience embedding directly within customer technology teams to gather technical requirements, provide engineering insights, and align solutions with business needs
- Experience in healthcare professional services, developing applications/services integrating with EMRs like Epic and Oracle, a major plus

In compliance with the State of California Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role is between $270k - $310k in CA. This range is not inclusive of any annual variable targets, discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
