Supervisory Responsibilities

Recruit, interview, onboard, and develop team members within the supply chain departmentOversee daily workflows, priorities, and scheduling to ensure operational efficiencyProvide clear, timely, and constructive performance feedback and evaluationsAddress performance issues, discipline, and employee separations in alignment with company policies

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a supply chain team spanning procurement, logistics, and inventory managementDrive strategic supply chain initiatives aligned with overall business objectivesPartner cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, and Production to ensure material availability and on-time deliverySupport sales and estimating efforts by providing accurate material costs and lead times for new quotesManage supplier relationships, negotiate agreements, and proactively resolve vendor performance issuesLeverage ERP systems (JobBOSS preferred, not required) and data-driven insights to optimize supply chain efficiencyEnsure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and internal policiesTrack supply chain KPIs and continuously identify opportunities for improvement

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in aerospace, defense, or similar highly regulated manufacturing environmentsStrong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems with a data-first management approachStrategic mindset paired with a hands-on leadership style—this is a roll-up-your-sleeves roleExcellent communication, vendor negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)5+ years of progressive supply chain experience, including leadership roles within a manufacturing environmentJob shop experience strongly preferred

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods and stand as needed during meetings or operational tasksOccasional lifting of up to 25 pounds for reports, materials, or small equipment
