As a certified B Corp, the company combines innovation, sustainability and high-performance haircare solutions for both professional stylists and consumers.Job DescriptionLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop a team of trade marketing professionals.Build a collaborative and high-performing culture.Align team priorities with wider commercial objectives.Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to drive business growth.Trade Marketing Strategy & ExecutionDevelop and execute the annual U.S. trade marketing strategy.Translate brand campaigns into retailer-specific activations across in-store, digital, social, and experiential channels.Oversee promotional programmes, sampling initiatives, loyalty campaigns, and merchandising activities.Drive an integrated omni-channel approach to increase awareness, conversion, and customer loyalty.Budget & Commercial ManagementOwn and manage the trade marketing budget.Allocate investments across promotions, events, media, and merchandising.Evaluate programme performance and return on investment.Ensure spending aligns with commercial priorities and business goals.Insights & GrowthUse data and category insights to identify growth opportunities.Track performance against key metrics and recommend improvements.Support product launches and go-to-market strategies alongside Innovation and Brand teams.Retailer & Stakeholder ManagementRepresent Trade Marketing in retailer reviews and joint business planning sessions.Build strong relationships with retail partners and internal stakeholders.Ensure trade marketing programmes support both brand and commercial objectives.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.8+ years of trade marketing, channel marketing, or brand marketing experience within beauty, consumer goods, or retail.Proven success developing strategies that drive sales growth and brand awareness.Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.Strong understanding of retail, distributor, and eCommerce channels.Expertise in budget management, forecasting, and ROI analysis.Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.Ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.Advanced Microsoft Office skills.Willingness to travel as required.What's On OfferCompetitive salary range of $160,000 to $180,000.Comprehensive benefits package.Permanent position located in Brooklyn.
