Overview:
The Director, Operations II directs and oversees the efficient and effective operations for a large number (11 or more) of ambulatory practices, hospital based practices, and/or diagnostic facilities. Supervises Practice Managers and Team Coordinators assigned to one or more practices. Develops and executes a strategic plan that aligns with the organizational objectives related to staffing, employee development, performance management, customer service/satisfaction, service delivery, quality, revenue enhancement, expense control, budgeting, regulatory compliance, safety and security.
Education/Experience:
Associate Degree (required)
Bachelors Degree (preferred) Associate degree and 10 years leadership experience in lieu of Bachelor Degree
Diverse management experience/knowledge required, preferably in areas such as ambulatory healthcare administration, managed-care, change management or other relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
Provide Operational Leadership for the Orthopedic and Pain Management Divisions of SMG Hampton Roads / NENC including:
Orthopedics
5 sub-specialties (ortho trauma, ortho hand, sports medicine, general ortho, foot & ankle) covering 13 clinic locations across Hampton Roads and NENC with the addition of a Peninsula location later this year
Pain Management
3 locations with a 4th coming online later this year (Fort Norfolk) as well as planned expansion.
