JOB TITLE: Program ManagerREPORTS TO:Area Director
SUMMARY: The Area Program Manager position provides leadership, oversight, and direction for their assigned Loveland Center programs. They take ownership of the center’s programs, building pathways for inclusion in the greater community, and continuously moving the center forward in providing the best services and support for the I/DD community.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with at least two (2) years’ experience working in an educational, health care, or related fields and at least one (1) year working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Experience will substitute year for year for educational experience.
- Must have a driver’s license and access to a reliable motor vehicle.

- Detail-oriented, while remaining organized and capable of prioritizing accordingly.
- Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and integrity.
- Knowledge of, or ability to master, Therap, Google Suite, and other needed computer programs.
DUTIES:
- Maintain professional standards of the highest quality with regards to health, safety, program management, staff, participant supervision, and other company needs.
- Effectively maintain lines of communication among participants, parents/guardians, staff, volunteers, Chief Programs Officer, and administrative team regarding all aspects of daily programming.
- Oversee all programs and services in your service area and promote an atmosphere conducive to life skills development and training in all program areas.
- Participate in interviewing, hiring and training processes of new staff in the assigned area.
- During a crisis situation coordinate all activities related to the situation until resolution is reached and the safety of participants and employees is assured.
- Develop and implement new programs that serve the needs of the center.
