Title: Disaster Related Specialist Finance (FEMA Cost Recovery) Client: Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), TX Location: Austin, TX 78756 (Remote with potential on-site meetings) Duration: Initial term: 1 year (Jan 1, 2026 Dec 31, 2026) Renewal: Option for one additional year (Jan 1, 2027 Dec 31, 2027) Disaster Related Specialist Finance (FEMA Cost Recovery) Key Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in emergency management or FEMA finance-related functions
Experience coordinating with FEMA/TDEM on COVID-19 cost recovery
NIMS/ICS certifications: ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-700, ICS-800, ICS-900, E/L0973, and E/L0975
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
Must be available for extended work hours (12-hour shifts as needed)
