About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Stocks Investments Inc, dba Golden Corral in Roxboro, NC, as a Display Cook! In this exciting role, you will create visually appealing and delicious food displays that enhance our customers' dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present food items according to Golden Corral's quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the buffet area and kitchen.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food service.
- Monitor food inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Engage with customers to promote menu items and gather feedback.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff on display techniques and presentation.
- Participate in special events and promotions to create unique food displays.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a cooking or food preparation role preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Food safety certification is a plus.
- Passion for creating visually appealing food displays.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
