Distribution Associate

Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour

Let's continue to drive positive change and growth!As a Distribution Associate at Beehive Meals, you'll play an important role in preparing, packaging, and distributing our meals. You'll work alongside a dedicated team to ensure orders are accurate, inventory is organized, and products are ready for timely delivery. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working with others, and contributing to a fast-paced environment.What You Will Do:Prepare bagged meal sets for packaging and distribution.Pick, pack, and organize meal orders accurately and efficiently for delivery or shipment.Place and stack completed boxes on pallets for distribution.Assist with loading, unloading, and handling products for shipments and returns.Monitor inventory levels, perform regular cycle counts, and report discrepancies.Maintain accurate inventory records and follow established safety procedures.Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, as trained and authorized.Keep shelves, aisles, storage areas, and workstations clean and organized.Follow all Safe Quality Food (SQF) program requirements, food safety standards, and sanitation procedures.Maintain proper hygiene practices, including regular handwashing and wearing required protective clothing.Ensure workspaces, storage areas, and equipment remain clean and inspection-ready.Collaborate with distribution team members to meet daily packaging and shipping needs.Communicate effectively with coworkers and leadership to maintain a positive and productive work environment.Follow workplace safety policies and promptly report hazards, incidents, or concerns.Perform other duties as assigned.What You Will Bring:Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Good problem-solving skills and willingness to take initiative.Understanding of workplace safety and food handling practices.Ability to follow instructions, established procedures, and quality standards.Dependability, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.Willingness to learn, adapt, and support team goals.Previous warehouse, packaging, inventory, or distribution experience is a plus.What You Will Experience:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
