Sterling Engineering is looking for a Distribution Engineering Designer I in Maitland, FL. This opportunity supports utility and electrical distribution projects with a mix of field and design work.
Job Duties:
- Perform field data collection, site inspections, and documentation
- Prepare CAD drawings to support engineering design
- Assist with generating permitting packages
- Support project teams with design and field coordination
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- 1+ year of experience in utilities, construction, or a technical field preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical distribution systems
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to walk long distances on uneven terrain and lift up to 35 lbs
