Job Description
We are looking for ONE reliable person who wants to become a professional dog trainer.
Dog Gone Problems is hiring a Dog Daycare Attendant for someone who wants to start a long-term career in the dog training industry.
Dog Gone Problems has been helping Omaha-area dogs and families since 2012 and runs the area's largest puppy school.
This position begins in our highly structured daycare program where you will learn dog body language, safely managing groups of dogs, an introduction to dog behavior and foundational dog training skills.
As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you will supervise small groups of dogs, learn to read dog body language, and help reinforce calm behavior and basic obedience in a structured environment.
Working with dogs professionally is rewarding, but it is also physically demanding and requires focus, responsibility, and the ability to manage groups of dogs safely. This is not a "just play with dogs" job - it requires structure, attention, and accountability.
We invest nearly $10,000 training each professional dog trainer we develop for long-term roles on our team.
Previous dog experience is helpful, but not required. We provide structured training for the right candidate.
This job requires standing, moving, and actively supervising dogs for extended periods.
When applying, please include a short note answering this question:
