Dog Hotel Hospitality And Sales Assistant Director

• Active supervision of the Operations Team who provide for the health and positive behavior of dogs; the dogs are here to be active and have fun with you and each other!
• Supervise Operations Team providing direction as necessary, and always leading by example for on-time business open and on-time close with all cleaning protocols met daily.
• Assist with and complete basic grooming services periodically as needed, and delegating to Operations Team Mates priorities of grooming, while maintaining exceptional client service contact with our dog parents.
• A positive and energetic team player attitude.
• Overseas and responsible for complete cleanliness of facility all areas, ensuring a clean environment for all dogs, and Team, including Lobby, Luxury Suites, all Play Yards, all work spaces, all bathrooms, and our entire facility.
• Must be able to work at a quick and efficient pace, and love people.
• Nature leader or managerial experience plus, providing prompt leadership and direction, sometimes in busy environment.
• Computer literate and quick learner who is process and detail oriented.
• Excellent communicator who is professionally polished and caring responsible individual.
• Financially motivated to increase sales, occupancy, and 4+ star online reviews

• Able to comfortably lift up 75+ lbs. and comfortably stand/walk for an entire shift - lots of steps in our profession.
• Must be comfortable monitoring up to 25 dogs at a time, if necessary.
• Must be an expert in back of house Operations, to properly supervise Operations ensuring safety, soundness, safety protocols, and on-time daily flow managing labor expense.
• Confident strong disposition around all dogs and dog sizes (we have dogs weighing more than 200 lbs.).
• Previous experience in dog handling or animal care required; training will be provided.
• Ranching or equine facility background is transferable.
• Familiarity with dog training techniques is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic pet grooming practices is beneficial.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• 2+ year professional sales experience with demonstrable success.
• Must be able to type 80+ WPM.
• Resilient and multi-tasking Team Mate who is leader and one "who runs toward the fire, rather than runs away hiding from the fire".
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Gifted communicator that has gift of hospitality and welcoming attitude to our dog families.
• Must have own personal transportation and not rely on any individual or ride sharing to come to work.
• Key holder experience required.
• Proven leader for example in athletics, family, at work, church, volunteering, animal care, school, OR any field of study, or work experience.
