You will join the foundation at an exciting time, with the opportunity to make a transformational impact. The foundation is in the public phase of a historic campaign to raise $3 billion to build a better future for Nebraska. The campaign is being led by many enthusiastic volunteers representing all areas of the University of Nebraska System. This paid position offers a flexible schedule of 10-15 hours per week, professional experience, learning opportunities, and flexible scheduling. Must be available to work occasional weekend and evening hours.

Ways you will make an impact:

  • Support the coordination and execution of high-profile donor events, including assisting with strategic planning, creative concept development, donor list cultivation, vendor selection, campus liaison efforts, and overall event logistics and operations.
  • Coordinate with both internal and external partners using effective communication.
  • Assist in the logistical planning and on-site setup of event venues, ensuring all elements are in place for smooth and efficient event execution.
  • Attend high-level donor events to provide on-site event support.
  • Conduct project research and assist with specialized donor stewardship activities.

What you need:

  • Minimum Education: Current undergraduate status/enrollment at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Discretion in handling confidential matters and information.
