Position: Doors and Window Sales
JobSummary:
The Doors and Window Salesemployee will receiveorders, generally in person, forproducts and services. Additionally, the position is required to describeavailable options, computecosts,acceptpayment and provideexcellent customer service.
SupervisoryResponsibilities:
- None.
PrimaryDuties/Responsibilities:
- Greets customers with respect and courtesy.
- Keeps up to date with the product inventory anditsfunctionality.
- Should ask questionsandproviderelevantinformation to the customersthat they might needand then list down the orderswhich the customersmightpurchase, thereby providing them excellentcustomerservice.
- Advise customers on use andcare of merchandise.
- Answertelephones to provide informationandreceiveorders.
- Recommendandprovideadvice on a wide variety of products and services.
- Maintain proficiency in all organizational safe working policiesandpractices.
- Performs other related duties asassigned.
- Adheres to company policiesandworkrequirements.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- The ability to read,write,understand,andrelay, written andverbalinstructions.
- Ability to operateavailableequipment,suchas cash registers,calculators,orscanners.
- Basicmathematical skills, asneeded to make changeandgiverefunds.
- Knowledgeable aboutcompany’sproducts and services, and customer-related policies.
EducationandExperience:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- Successfulcompletion of on-the-jobtraining.
- Six months of relatedexperience preferred.
PhysicalRequirements:
- This position requiresprolonged periods of standing and working on cash register or relatedequipment.
- Must be in adequatephysical condition to performrequirements such as mental, physicalandmanualdexterity, hand/grip strength, depth perceptionandany other physicalattributes that enable the employee to perform the job safely according to all Company,Local, State, andFederalregulations and requirements.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 75 pounds regularly.
- Ability to push/pull up to 75 pounds regularly.
- Must wearprescribed personal protective equipment whenhandling material or operatingequipment.
OtherRequirements:
- Must be able to successfully passpre-employment and required drug screens asrequested.
