Join a powerhouse in critical infrastructure as a Drafting Manager in Bossier City, Louisiana, near Shreveport. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role with a fast-growing organization known for designing and manufacturing custom building systems that support data centers and other major industries, offering strong stability, direct access to upper management, and outstanding long-term career growth.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Drafting Manager position include:

7+ years of professional drafting/design experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
3+ years in a supervisory or lead role managing drafting/design resources
Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Mechanical, including assemblies, detailing, sheet metal, and BOM workflows
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as fabrication, machining, welding, and assembly
Lead and supervise a team of drafters/designers while providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations
Manage drafting workload, assign tasks, and ensure timely delivery across multiple projects
Establish and maintain drafting standards, detailing practices, templates, and libraries
Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and project management to support design changes and documentation accuracy

Salary: $80,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with a 50% match up to 6%, life and disability coverage, 2 weeks of PTO that is negotiable, bonus potential up to 10% based on both individual and company performance, and relocation assistance.
