Drafting Technician Responsibilities
- This position is responsible for providing drafting support at an intermediate level. *
- Incumbents work under general supervision with instructions given for routine work and detailed instructions given for new work or special assignments. *
- May seek the advice of senior personnel in their functional area. *
- The position reports directly to a Group Leader or Manager of the group. However, on a day-to-day basis, this position will work with and at the direction of the groups engineers and senior drafters and work with personnel at other sites.
- Product Lifecycle Management Create or modify documents, drawings, parts, BOMs, and finished goods following established procedures * * * *
- Capable of interacting with various job functions to gather information, documentation, approvals, etc. as required for product lifecycle changes. * * * *
- Experience with Oracle Agile preferred * * * *
- Time Management and Prioritization Skills * * * *
- Independently follows agreed upon path/strategy/priority with minimal follow up or one-on-one direction. * * * *
- Ability to multi-task in an environment of competing priorities and appropriately reach out to management for help in prioritizing activities/goals. * * * *
- Reads and follows written protocols and standard operating procedures. * * *
- Education: Associate//Bachelors degree preferred (technical degree in functional area) *
- Experience 0-5 years applicable experience
