Atlantic Health System is seeking a CDL Driver for Atlantic Ambulance in Livingston to cover full time shifts.
- Ensures day to day transportation services for Atlantic Health are completed in a timely and professional manner.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Must be able to maintain a flexible schedule and available for overtime, special events and Holidays as needed by the department
- Demonstrates good customer service skills, and respect to all riders, including handling grievances professionally.
- Must be in full Uniform including a visible ID badge, key peg and maintain a professional appearance
- Vehicles are to be cleaned inside and out daily, fueled after each shift, and all required equipment is in vehicle
- Oil and all fluid levels must be checked before the shift and Rig Check Sheets are to be completed and turned in daily
- Swipes in and out on time
- Is on time for routine scheduled stops
- Completes tasks and assignments in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner
- Work closely with other Drivers and communicates as needed to ensure a timely, efficient service
- Adheres to all Atlantic Health and Atlantic Ambulance Policy and Procedures
- Completes all required training and maintains all required certifications and licenses
- It is the responsibility of the employee to keep all DOT Physical appointments and NJ Driver's License requirements up to date.
- Contributes to a team environment
- Must attend all Transportation staff meetings
- Must be able to maintain a flexible schedule and available for overtime, special events and Holidays as needed by the department
