G3 Quality, Inc. is a California-based Engineering Quality Control / Quality Assurance consulting firm. We focus on providing QA/QC program development, flexible pavement engineering, technical specification development, materials laboratory testing and research, design-build quality program management, and HMA mix designs (Hveem, Marshall, and Superpave) and materials consulting on California’s infrastructure construction projects. Our firm was established in 2013 and we currently have over 125 professionals with headquarters in Cerritos and additional offices and laboratories in Bakersfield, Redlands, and Sacramento.

Position Summary

G3 Quality, Inc. is seeking a Driver to support project activities in our Cerritos Headquarters facility. The driver is an imperative role, in transporting all samples and required materials to and from various project sites to our laboratories, and coordinating with our field staff accordingly. This position reports to our Fleet Manager. The preferred candidate must be self-starting, detail-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Individuals must have a firm understanding of basic math skills and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Driving a company vehicle onto construction sites and coordinating with our field technicians to pick up samples (50+ lbs) for transport to our laboratory. Pick-up routes range from Los Angeles to San Diego.
• Performs general area cleanup.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly vehicle.
• Load and unload the company vehicle with appropriate equipment.
• Follows company safe driving guidelines and policies. Immediately reports all safety hazards.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Daily records and complete daily timesheets.

Educational Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years of driving experience or relevant industry experience is a plus.
• Possess a valid California driver's license.
• Clean driving record for the past 3 years.
• Candidate must have a proven success record of providing superior client satisfaction.
• Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift, carry, and transfer material samples weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Pay Scale:

• $19 an hour
