Your day as a Driver

As a Driver for B&H, you will be responsible for the safe, timely pickup and delivery of materials, tools, and equipment to and from our Houston-area projects and customers. You will load and unload your vehicle, verify documentation, and ensure that all items are properly secured and protected in transit. You'll coordinate closely with dispatch and warehouse staff on routing, schedules, and any delivery changes throughout the day.

You'll conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, keep your vehicle clean and compliant, and immediately report any maintenance or safety issues. You may be asked to assist with basic yard or warehouse tasks between runs, such as helping stage materials, organizing loads, or supporting inventory moves. In all activities, you'll be expected to follow company safety policies and DOT guidelines.

What we're looking for in a Driver

To excel in this role, you should bring at least 5+ years of professional driving experience with a strong safety record. An active TWIC card is required for access to certain facilities and job sites. You should be comfortable navigating the Houston area, managing routes and schedules, and adapting to changing priorities during the day.

We're looking for someone who is punctual, dependable, and customer-focused, with solid communication skills for interacting with dispatch, supervisors, and customers at delivery locations. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, able to handle physical work such as loading and unloading, and takes pride in representing B&H professionally on the road and at every stop.
