JOB SUMMARY

The Driver plays a critical role in delivering on this promise every day. This position is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional transportation of household goods, commercial freight, and specialized cargo between job sites, warehouses, ports, and customer locations. Drivers serve as frontline ambassadors of M. Dyer Global—representing our brand, values, and commitment to excellence through every interaction on the road and at delivery sites.

Working closely with Operations, Dispatch, Warehouse, and Packing teams, the Driver ensures shipments are handled with care, equipment is operated safely, and all deliveries meet regulatory, customer, and company standards. This role requires strong situational awareness, accountability, and teamwork to ensure each move is completed efficiently, securely, and with aloha—supporting our vision of delivering meeting excellence and carrying aloha around the world.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in moving, logistics, or transportation (Crew Lead experience a plus)
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75lbs unassisted
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to company policies and procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
• Technology savvy and adaptable to new programs and processes
• Ability to read, write, basic math skills to understand and follow all written and verbal directions/documents
• Ability to follow directions while using good judgment
• Must pass all Company Pre-Employment Checks

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Including but not limited to the following:

• Safely operate company vehicles and equipment
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness
• Load, transport, and deliver customer goods with care
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Follow schedules, work, and shipping orders
• Communicate clearly with Dispatch and Operations
• Ability to think outside the box to achieve maximum results.
• Maintain a safe working environment and support the crew as needed
• Manage and execute the loading, transportation, and delivery of customer goods in accordance with our standards and procedures
• Ability to run the job without supervision.
• Train and assist new employees when needed.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Provide a professional, courteous service in customers' homes and businesses
• Flexible work schedule, including early mornings, some weekends, and overtime
• Always maintain confidentiality.
• Any other duties as may be requested by the Company

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to bend, crawl, sit, talk, move about, hear, and speak. They may be required to work in restricted spaces and/or under difficult lighting and access conditions. Noise levels may be high when operating power equipment. Employees may be exposed to outside weather conditions when transporting materials. The employee must be able to frequently lift up to 75 pounds and must ask for assistance when lifting items that are bulky, excessively heavy, or appear beyond the employee's capability. The employee is required to properly use safety equipment, as appropriate to the work, to prevent injury to themselves or others.
