Now Hiring Transit Bus Driver with Articulating experience in Rockville, MD - Serving Montgomery County Bus Lanes
We are currently on the lookout for an experienced CDL Driver to join our elite team in Rockville, MD for Day and Night shifts. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
Transdev is proud to offer:
- Competitive compensation package of minimum $18.00 – Maximum $22.00
Benefits include:
- Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
- Sick days: 5 days
- Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating

- Company paid ASE testing, training materials, and tool reimbursement

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transports Buses.
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Move buses/articulating buses from one location to another.
Qualifications:
- Good verbal communication skills
- At least 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years
- Need to have active CDL
- Experience with Articulating Buses
- Be subject to a drug screen & physical
- Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Physical Requirements:
- The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
- Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
- Push and pull objects, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
- Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
