This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a team that delivers exceptional service to customers every day.No CDL Required!Position SummaryAs a Driver Helper, you'll work alongside professional drivers to ensure building materials are delivered safely, accurately, and efficiently to customer locations. You'll play a vital role in supporting our delivery operations by assisting with loading, unloading, transporting materials, and providing excellent customer service. Depending on business needs, you may also operate a company van or pickup truck and drive a pilot vehicle for oversized loads.What You'll Do

Assist with loading, securing, and unloading building materials using motorized and non-motorized equipment.Support drivers in delivering products safely and efficiently to residential and commercial job sites.Help carry and place materials such as drywall, windows, doors, and other building products in designated customer locations.Deliver customer orders using a company pickup truck or van and obtain proof of delivery documentation.Operate a pilot vehicle for oversized loads while ensuring compliance with transportation and safety regulations.Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance checks on delivery vehicles.Communicate professionally with customers and team members to ensure a positive delivery experience.Follow all company safety procedures and regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or GED preferred.One year of experience in delivery, construction, warehouse operations, material handling, or a related field preferred.Valid driver's license required.Strong commitment to safety, customer service, and teamwork.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements & Work EnvironmentThis is an active, hands-on role that requires working outdoors and assisting with product deliveries in various weather conditions.

Frequently lift and carry up to 100 pounds.Occasionally lift and carry up to 200 pounds with assistance.Perform tasks that involve climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and pushing.Safely enter and exit delivery vehicles throughout the day.Maintain full mobility and visibility while assisting with vehicle operations and deliveries.Work in outdoor conditions and around moderate noise levels.
