We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Driver / Material Handler to support the movement of materials across our operation. This role is critical to keeping production running on time by ensuring materials are delivered, staged, and handled accurately and efficiently.
This position requires someone who takes ownership, works with urgency, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to support the team.
What You’ll Do
Move Materials & Support Production Flow
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials between facilities and client locations
- Load, unload, and stage materials to meet daily production and delivery schedules
- Ensure timely movement of inventory throughout warehouse and production areas
- Prepare and organize outgoing shipments for delivery
Ensure Accuracy & Quality
- Verify shipments for accuracy (counts, condition, and documentation)
- Handle materials carefully to prevent damage
- Secure loads properly for safe transport
- Report discrepancies, damages, or issues immediately
Follow Safety & Operational Standards
- Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and driving procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery, pickup, and inventory records
- Follow DOT regulations and company vehicle policies
- Keep vehicles, docks, and warehouse areas clean and organized
Be a Team Player
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory organization
- Support cycle counts and general warehouse needs
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support operations
Requirements
Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record & able to drive in all types of weather
- Previous experience in driving, warehouse, or material handling preferred
- Ability to pass DOT physical & a drug test including marijuana with continued random drug screens throughout employment.
- Be able to climb stairs, bend, kneel, reach and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Ability to lift/move materials regularly (50+ lbs)
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Dependable, team-oriented, and flexible
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus
