At Barnhart, we don't just move equipment — we solve complex lifting challenges across industries. As a Driver/Rigger, you'll play a key role in day-to-day crane operations, supporting lifts that keep projects moving across the region.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Support daily crane operations, including setup, rigging, and job site execution
  • Haul counterweights and equipment between yard and job sites
  • Assist with crane assembly and breakdown
  • Perform rigging, signaling, and load control during lifts
  • Work on projects involving AC units, transformers, and industrial equipment
  • Operate in a mix of truck driving and on-site rigging work

What You Bring

Required:

  • CDL Class A license
  • Experience in rigging or heavy equipment environments
  • Experience with over-dimensional or heavy haul transport
  • Ability to obtain a TWIC card
  • Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset
  • Flexibility to work in the field and travel as needed

Preferred:

  • Experience with crane support, gantries, or heavy lift equipment
  • Familiarity with jack & slide or specialized rigging systems
  • Mechanical or machinery experience
