Job Description

Commercial Drywall Project Manager

A well-established commercial interiors contractor is hiring a Drywall Project Manager to lead projects across their full scope: drywall, acoustical ceilings, structural framing, and light gauge metal framing. You'll own projects from award through closeout on a strong pipeline of commercial work, including office, healthcare, education, retail, and multifamily projects.

What you'll do

Manage commercial drywall, acoustical ceiling (ACT), light gauge metal framing, and structural/CFS framing projects from handoff through closeout
Build and maintain project schedules, and coordinate manpower with field superintendents and foremen
Own budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and monthly billing
Process submittals, RFIs, change orders, and shop drawings
Procure materials and manage vendor and subcontractor relationships
Serve as the main point of contact for general contractors, architects, and owners
Drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery on every job

What you'll bring

3+ years of project management experience in commercial drywall, framing, or interior systems
Working knowledge of ACT systems, metal stud framing, structural/CFS framing, and fire-rated and acoustical assemblies
Strong blueprint and spec reading skills
Experience with scheduling, job costing, and project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar)
Strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects
Estimating or field experience is a plus
