DSP Communications Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a robust expertise in managing and developing solutions for wireless protocols. This role involves pioneering research in real-time radio communication systems and creating advanced software-driven frameworks. The successful candidate will thrive in an autonomous setting and demonstrate a high level of initiative and innovation. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing solutions to effectively gather and analyze RF signals, developing digital communication methods, and refining prototype systems into fully operational solutions. Proficiency in C/C++ and Python is essential, along with extensive experience in systems development, particularly within intelligence and defense sectors. Familiarity with source control systems like Git, and excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are critical. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required. A TS/SCI Clearance is mandatory. Familiarity with Software Defined Radio, geolocation techniques, and experience with complex RF settings, alongside knowledge of multi-threaded signal processing on Linux systems is highly desirable. Success in this role also demands comfort in collaborating across distributed teams.
