About the Role

This is a dual role:

• Food Service Assistant- Wed, Thurs & Friday 0700 to 1430
• Cook- Sat & Sun 0900 to 1700

Here's what a typical day as a FSA involves:

• Prepping food and drink
• Cleaning (including dishes) - you bring a sparkle to the place in more ways than one
• Changing up the menu. You'll work with our team and residents to create exciting meals that cater to every individual
• Keeping records as part of our Food Safety Program
• Being active and on your feet for most of your shift

As Cook you'll:

• Work alongside the Chef to assist with kitchen management

• Tailor meals to meet individual needs and preferences

• Ensure our residents are provided with healthy, nutritious and delicious meals

• Support the broader kitchen team to deliver a memorable dining experience

You'll be a real team player who has:

• A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
• Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus)
• Great time management and planning skills
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course
