Job Description

At Hyatt Place Itasca, we are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role will be an energetic and organized individual with an eye for detail, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to lead and mentor a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all housekeeping operations run smoothly and efficiently and that the highest standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of two years of previous experience in a housekeeping management role, preferably in the hospitality industry. They must possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills and must be able to work independently as well as manage a team. Familiarity with housekeeping management software is an asset. A degree in hospitality or a related field is preferred but not required.At Hyatt, we are looking for a passionate and motivated Housekeeping Manager to join our team. Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained.

Monitor and evaluate housekeeping staff performance, providing training and support as needed.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of housekeeping operations.

Ensure that all staff adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

Manage inventory of supplies and equipment and communicate needs to appropriate personnel.

Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of supplies.

Develop and monitor budget to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Track and analyze housekeeping performance metrics and use data to improve operations.

Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a professional manner.

Maintain and enforce compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
