Early Childhood Education Teacher

Location: The Learning Experience- Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY

Pay: $20-$23 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Early Childhood Education Teacher- Infant, Toddler & Preschool Programs

The Learning Experience- Bushwick is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Education Teacher to join our growing team. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy supporting young learners during their most important developmental years while creating engaging classroom experiences that inspire confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

Whether working with toddlers or preschoolers, you'll play an essential role in helping children build strong social-emotional, language, and early academic foundations through meaningful relationships and hands-on learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment

• Implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences using The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum

• Foster children's social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development

• Support daily classroom routines, transitions, meals, and learning centers

• Build strong partnerships with families through consistent communication

• Collaborate with assistant teachers and center leadership to maintain classroom excellence

• Observe and document children's developmental progress

• Maintain compliance with New York State and NYC health, safety, and licensing requirements

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred

• CDA accepted

• Candidates with 5+ years of professional childcare experience and a high school diploma will also be considered

• Previous classroom teaching experience required

• Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills

• Must meet all New York State and NYC childcare licensing requirements
