Pay: $17-$18 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Early Childhood Education Teacher
The Learning Experience- Newark is seeking a caring and dependable Early Childhood Education Teacher to support classrooms serving infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. This role focuses on creating a structured and engaging learning environment where children build confidence, independence, and strong early learning foundations through hands-on experiences and positive relationships.
This position is ideal for educators who enjoy working with young learners in a collaborative and supportive childcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily classroom routines and learning activities across age groups
- Implement developmentally appropriate experiences that encourage social, emotional, and cognitive growth
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Guide children through transitions including meals, rest time, and learning centers
- Encourage classroom participation and positive peer interaction
- Communicate professionally with families and teaching team members
- Follow Delaware childcare licensing requirements and center policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Prior childcare experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children
- Must meet Delaware childcare licensing requirements
