Early Childhood Special Education Teacher (ECSE)Location: Joliet, ILSchool Year: 2026 2027Position Type: Full-TimeWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school team in the Joliet, IL area for the 2026 2027 school year. This is a full-time, school-based position working with young learners in an early childhood setting.Position Overview:The ECSE Teacher will support students with diverse learning needs by creating an inclusive, nurturing, and structured classroom environment that promotes academic, social, and developmental growth.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide instruction tailored to early childhood learners with varying abilities
- Create a positive and supportive classroom environment
- Collaborate with related service providers, paraprofessionals, and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Utilize evidence-based strategies to support developmental milestones
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Special Education or related field
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Early Childhood Special Education endorsement required
- Experience working with early childhood populations preferred
- Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
