  • Support preschool-aged students (ages 3-5) with a variety of developmental and educational needs.

About the Role

Hello ECSE Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher to support preschool students in Windsor, CO. This part-time opportunity is ideal for an educator who loves working with young learners and is passionate about helping children build strong foundations in communication, social-emotional development, early academics, and adaptive skills.

You'll collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team to provide individualized instruction and early intervention services that make a meaningful impact during these critical developmental years.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for preschool-aged students

  • Provide engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction that supports communication, social-emotional, adaptive, and pre-academic skills

  • Create a positive, nurturing classroom environment for young learners

  • Support students with a variety of developmental delays and disabilities

  • Collaborate with families, therapists, and educational staff to promote student success

  • Monitor student progress and maintain compliant documentation

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration

  • Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and positive behavior supports

What We're Looking For

  • Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Teaching License with a Special Education endorsement

  • Early Childhood Special Education endorsement preferred

  • Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred

  • Strong collaboration, communication, and classroom management skills

  • Passion for supporting young learners and their families

  • School-based experience preferred but not required
