⏰ Hours: Vary by school; shifts fall between 7 AM–5 PM

🌟 What You’ll DoAs a Teacher Assistant, you’ll be an essential partner in the classroom—helping students ages 3–12 grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Working closely with a classroom teacher and under the guidance of the principal, you’ll bring learning to life through hands‑on support and meaningful interactions.Your daily impact will include:

Supporting individual students or small groups to reinforce lessonsGuiding independent study, enrichment, and remedial activities

Assisting with grading, prepping materials, and organizing classroom toolsHelping lead group activities and school‑wide events

Preparing supplies and instructional resources for daily learningSupervising students during lunch, recess, field trips, and special events

Basic computer literacy🎓 Education RequirementsYou must meet one of the following:60+ college credit hours

Associate’s degree or higherPassing score on the Missouri ParaPro or Paraprofessional Assessment

Completion of Missouri’s online Substitute Training ProgramValid Missouri Substitute Teaching CertificateApproval by the Board of Education
