Promise Early Education have both Year Round Full Time and Part Year (late August- Early June) positions available. We are in need of both Head Start and Early Head Start Teacher Assistants
Early Head Start Teacher Assistants will be primarily with children 0-3 years old
Head Start Teacher Assistant will be primarily with children 3-5 years old.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children
- Assist classroom teachers with classroom management
- Fill in when the Teacher is out of the classroom
- Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds, get down on the floor with children for floor time activities
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Computer skills are required
- communicate clearly both verbally and in written form
Education Requirements:Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
