Hawaii's largest, locally owned post-acute healthcare company.Our vision is to transform how healthcare is provided throughout Hawaii.  Ohana's Earn & Learn Nurse Aide Training Program:Participants receive Free Nurse Aide Training and earn wages while attending class. Work may run concurrent with Nurse Aide Training Program (NATP) or commence following completion of NATP. Great opportunity to explore careers in post-acute care. Free Course Instruction with Full-time or Part-time Employment:Course schedule: Saturday and Sunday from October 17, 2026  - November 28, 2026Duration: 100 hours, in-person instruction

Course instruction provided by State approved Nurse Aide Training ProgramWork as a Nurse Aide will commence following program completion at Hale Makua WailukuFinal step will include Prometric Exam to obtain Certified Nurse Aide status The Position:Nurse Aides/CNA's are the primary caregivers in post-acute and long-term care settings, providing nursing care and services to residents, that include personal and restorative care and activities of daily living.Ohana Nurse Aides orient new residents to the unit and facility: Bathroom, call system, shower schedule, and common areas; introduce to residents; informs of meal schedule, snack times, and activities calendar.Nurse Aides respond to resident calls, call bells, call lights, and alarms immediately. Responds to family request. Informs Charge Nurse when required. Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent / Minimum age 18 by end of Nurse Aide Training Program.Completion of Nurse Aide Training Program.Scheduled Prometric exam within 120 days of hire.Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house). The Benefits:Paid Time OffFree state approved Nurse Aide Training Program, includes exam fee towards CNA CertificationOhana's CNA to LPN Bridge ProgramTuition ReimbursementMedical/Dental/Vision/401(k) match
