About the Position

Grace seeks an enthusiastic science teacher leave replacement, who loves teaching early, lower and middle school students. The position will run from March 2nd until May 1st. The ideal candidate will foster curiosity for understanding one’s self and the world; have a have knowledge of inquiry-based and other approaches to teaching; is committed to addressing social justice, diversity, equity, and anti-bias education within the curriculum;  brings tools and strategies for differentiating instruction; will work collaboratively to develop curriculum; communicates effectively with students, families, and colleagues; and takes professional growth seriously.

• Teaching load would include teaching sections of lower and middle school Science, which includes Junior Kindergarten through eighth grade.
• Other responsibilities include advising middle school students, and supervisory duties, such as lunch and recess duty

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree or beyond is preferred.

Compensation

This is a full-time faculty position with an expected base salary of $68,000–$155,040 commensurate with education and experience on the faculty salary scale.
