Job Description

Job Title: Echo Tech- Cardiology (TRAVEL ONLY)Overview: Join our team as a Cardiac Sonographer, providing specialized, high-quality patient care through a variety of cardiac ultrasound procedures. In this critical role, you will perform complex diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, stress tests, and Doppler imaging, contributing vital information to the healthcare team. Your expertise will support accurate diagnoses and optimal patient outcomes in a dynamic healthcare environment.Pay: $3,300 Weekly Shift: 9:30am- 6pmRequired Skills:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiac ultrasound*
  • Proficiency in performing echocardiograms, Doppler, Color Flow imaging, and stress echocardiography (Exercise and Dobutamine)*
  • Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, Doppler physics, and hemodynamics related to various disease states*
  • Ability to identify stenosis or occlusion preliminarily based on national criteria*
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for clear documentation and patient education*
  • Knowledge of healthcare privacy standards and maintaining confidentiality*
  • Skilled in computer use, including software and web applications*
  • Capable of working efficiently under pressure with strong interpersonal skills*
  • Ability to assist physicians during interventional procedures requiring ultrasonic guidance*
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to diverse patient populations and needs
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent*
  • Prior cardiology or echocardiography experience in a clinical setting
Other Requirements:
  • Active RDCS registration through ARDMS*
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association*
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts*
  • Physical ability to exert force up to 100 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in a healthcare setting*
  • Willingness to work in environments with exposure to blood, body fluids, and potential communicable diseases*
  • Compliance with all healthcare safety protocols, including handling hazardous materials and waste
