Cardiac Sonographer Requirements
·Minimum one (1) year of experience performing cardiac diagnostic procedures and related responsibilities
·Current ARDMS - RDCS or CCI
·Demonstrate professionalism and effective interpersonal skills in a diverse population.
·Ability to be self-directed and organized to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
·Must be able to pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screening and background check
·Must have a current BLS/CPR
Job Responsibilities
·Demonstrate proficiency in medical diagnostic imaging equipment
·Perform a wide range of Echo imaging procedures, primarily in an ER environment
·Communicate pertinent clinical information and findings to the radiologist.
·Provide excellent care to their patients while maintaining a good rapport and excellent service to all client hospitals and staff.
·Utilize systems such as PACS systems and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to obtain or enter appropriate care data.
Physical Requirements
·Ability to lift 50–100 lbs., including patients, portable equipment, and positioning tools
·Physical agility to bend, twist, and reposition as needed
·Endurance for prolonged standing, walking, and multiple back-to-back procedures
